New Pool Construction Update

pool-rendering-jpeg

It’s been a long journey but we have finally awarded all contracts and demolition will begin shortly! Our new pool will boast a climbing wall, diving boards, in pool loungers, zero entry, shade areas, tot areas, in water play features and competitive lanes to mention just some of the amazing amenities. The bathhouse will receive interior and exterior upgrades along with the addition of an ADA accessible, family bathroom. All this made possible by a grant from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Zelienople Borough, and the generosity of local businesses and community residents.

However, after a review of construction timelines and recognizing the uncertainties of Mother Nature, we have determined that the new pool will not be ready for the 2018 season. We know this may be disappointing for many of our patrons, but our focus is to build the highest quality aquatic facility with attention to detail. We ask for your patience and understanding as we begin this exciting process. It will be worth the wait.

Is our work finished? Not yet! We still need your help! Our fundraising initiative now focuses on projects above and beyond the scope of the grant such as bathhouse upgrades, new deck furniture, and landscaping improvements.  Please consider supporting us through our special events (such as Big Truck Day, Zelie On Tap, Dining for Dollars) or by purchasing an engraved brick paver in memory or in honor of a special person.

Thank You Our Major Donors!
